Chapter 1: A Small Price to Pay

The sound of monster growls could be heard in the distance behind Amber as she ran quickly into the Ruins of a nearby Mall. It had only been two days since she joined the game and already she was getting owned by monsters- well, almost getting owned anyways. Luckily Amber was really good at dodging danger and now she finds herself in the middle of a crumbling Mall filled with Stores and.. Monsters, Unfortunately. A quick sigh came from the mouth of our dazzling Samurai followed by another swift "God Damn It!" which was spoken under her breath. ever since she joined the game she has not gotten one break from the Zombies, Skeletons and other weird beings of the ruins. Amber jogged over to a janitors closet to see what she could find for a better weapon..

Even though she already had the best weapons she could get in the area she still had some hope to gain more Pipes in order to salvage the material to create better weapons. It was the role of the blacksmith to create weapons and armor of all sorts and in order to do so she needed the pipes. Amber held her breath as she opened the closet..

'Basic Dice' :

Amber smiled brightly at the weapon and gold she had just found. "YES! This is good!.. If it keeps going like this its going to be no time before I gain new weapons!" She took the spoils she had just discovered and skipped down the ruined hallway to the nearest shop which had broken glass and destroyed shelving. It looked like a medical shop but there was nothing but busted walls and empty bottles.. however, maybe there was something over the counter..

'Basic Dice' :

Amber quickly notices the gold and as she swipes for it a horrid creature pops up from underneath the table. "You little bitchhhh. This is my Swam--- Err.. GOLD." The goblin stumbles over his words but this is no time for correcting the creatures speech. All of a sudden a Zombie creeps around the corner and Amber stops for a moment gripping both swords. "The zombie should be first.. so then i can focus all on the goblin." Amber rushes and slashes both swords through the zombie, Slaying it bravely. She then turns her attention to the Goblin. "Just you and I, Gobs." She smirks brightly.

'Basic Dice' :

The goblin jumps on top of the counter grasping onto his wooden club with a dark gleam in his eyes before rushing into battle with Amber. He Throws forward his club swiftly into Amber's stomach causing very little damage; which surprised Amber very much. "One.. Damage? I guess my Defense is pretty good as a samurai. hehe.." Amber crossed her swords and slashed across the goblin causing a grand total of 12 Damage. Another Zombie slowly creeps up from behind but Amber rushes behind the goblin to gain some more time.

Goblin: HP- 8/20
Zombie: HP- 10/10

Amber: HP- 49/50

'Basic Dice' :

Two Slashes leaves the Goblin dead in front of the Zombie who slowly creeps over to Amber. She on the other hand rushes away on top of the counter where she looks around for either more treasures or to find out if there is another enemy close by. She grips her blade tightly for another attack and observes the Zombie who looks horribly ugly. "Come on buddy.. Lets see what you've got!"

Amber jumps off the counter only to land both blades across the face of the zombie, Taking his ugly mug out. "Well.. that was quite the little battle.. got some gold and materials.. This will be good!" Amber walked out of the shop and right down the pathway to the next. She wondered if she could find any more swords for the material or more zombies. She didn't mind what was in store as long as she leveled up furthermore. In any case she walked through the doorway of the next Shop prepared to fight.

'Basic Dice' :

A single goblin hording treasure scowled at amber as she walked in. behind the Goblin amber could see a single sword laying out to take. "Its MY Treasure.. you cant take it!!!" The goblin forced itself forward with a wooden club to attack. Amber swiftly swiped both swords across its body and took the 1 HP Damage from the wooden club. "Nah.. I think soon it will be my treasure.." Amber swiped the sword up and looked around her for either more treasure or another enemy. The more Amber did this the more it felt natural to raid each room she went into.

Goblin: HP- 8/20

Amber was quick to kill the Zombie who walked slowly towards her first by slashing both blades across his being. She then kicked the little bastard of a goblin to the ground and snatched up his treasure while waiting for the goblins strike which happened as soon as Amber took the Gold. She began to love taking gold from goblins, It had a good feeling to it and she decided next time it would be better to do it with her good friend that joined the game with her.. if she could find him. they seemed to have been separated a few minutes after joining.

Amber quickly finished off the goblin who grovelled on the floor about his gold. She sighed slightly and regained herself. there was quite a lot of treasure to be obtained here in this room. Another sword, more gold, and maybe more? Amber wanted to check the lockers in the back of the shop really quickly before going out and into the next shop. She sneaked past the counter and into the back room where she searched around..

She was greeted instantly by a smack to the face with a wooden club. Of course.. It was another Goblin with yet another bag of Gold. "You little bastard!" Amber slashed twice and kicked the goblin to the ground. she then snatched up the bag of gold just to see the look on the goblins face and waited a few moments before kicking the goblin while he was down. "I wonder how many of these ill run into.."

'Basic Dice' :

"..Well.. Apparently Goblins like hanging out with Zombies.. huh.. this might get a little interesting." Amber sliced one of the zombies twice which took him out but amber was then struck by both a Zombie and a Goblin causing 2 HP damage. Amber slid back to avoid any further damage and began to think. "Im going to take out the goblin first.. and then the Zombie.. Im thinking that will be better!" Amber grasped her blades tightly and prepared for the next attacks against the enemies.

Amber HP: 44/50

Goblin HP: 8/20
Zombie HP: 10/10

The moan of more zombies sounded the back room and Amber began to think that it was probably a bad idea to be back here. Although, the two new zombies were trapped behind a shelf going straight forward towards Amber. Amber thought it would be wiser to just take out the Goblin and so she used two slices to take the goblin out while skipping backwards to avoid the zombie. Amber prepared to face the single zombie first and then the two behind the shelves. "Alright.. After these guys im out of this place for a little while.. Ill probably level up a couple times!"

Amber HP: 44/50
